In the bulk food section, my three year old helped me read the numbers of the items so I could write them on the tags. Then when my five year old got home from school and asked what the groceries were, she was able to figure it out herself by reading the words. I am always so impressed by how much my kids know at their age.

At the parent teacher conference I saw some of my kindergartners art. She is a lot better at it than I ever gave her credit for. It blows my mind what my baby is capable of. I'm glad she is blossoming in school.

I gave the baby a graham cracker and he turned to walk away. He took two steps, then turned back around to give me a kiss and a hug. He's never done that before. Tonight he slathered chocolate birthday cake all over himself. Love you, son. The last year with you in my life has been awesome.
