getting crafty with my oldest, sitting next to a sunny window, and having a nice chat.

The sun shined so beautifully today that I wanted to prance and frolic and sing in my yard. It was glorious. I love spring. I didn't need the smell of flowers in the air or the vibrant colors of their blossoms today, just being able to go out and feel the warmth of the sun without so much as a sweater made me feel the joy of spring. I tipped my head back and let the sun seep through the thinness of my eyelids, even but for a brief moment.
