I joined FLYlady and I'm really motivated now to get the house clean and things under control around here. My sink is shiny now.

Today I actually did some chores! Amazing, right?

I cuddled with my kids before I got out of bed this morning. I love that tradition, even if it means my day starts slower.

Sunday dinner with the in-laws, our last all together for the next year and a half.

I spent the evening in the temple doing very important work with my husband's family. What an amazing experience.

I have the best family ever! I got to see all of them today for the most part and each person is so special to me.

A busy day spent preparing, it will pay off in the morning.

Hearing my BIL talk about his relationship with phrases like "I think I'm done dating" and using the M word made me really excited. I'm so glad he is happy.

Lunch with the inlaws was pretty fun, but I must say that I enjoyed sewing stockings more.

I'm really hoping that my brother in law's girlfriend and her son become part of our family. They are so wonderful!

I LOVE being the Primary Chorister. It has got to be the best church calling I've ever had. I can make a fool of myself, play games with the kids, and everyone compliments me for it.

Everything I made for the holiday dinner turned out well and I got compliments on everything. I enjoy the challenge of trying a new dish and Autumn Cheesecake was no exception!

In the bulk food section, my three year old helped me read the numbers of the items so I could write them on the tags. Then when my five year old got home from school and asked what the groceries were, she was able to figure it out herself by reading the words. I am always so impressed by how much my kids know at their age.

I learned some new tips on teaching music to the children at church. I really felt the Spirit of the things that the songs chosen for 2010 are teaching. I am so thankful for my calling.

At the parent teacher conference I saw some of my kindergartners art. She is a lot better at it than I ever gave her credit for. It blows my mind what my baby is capable of. I'm glad she is blossoming in school.

My husband had the day off and it was so good to spend some time with him at home. He cuddled all the kids and it made them so happy.

I gave the baby a graham cracker and he turned to walk away. He took two steps, then turned back around to give me a kiss and a hug. He's never done that before. Tonight he slathered chocolate birthday cake all over himself. Love you, son. The last year with you in my life has been awesome.

The spirit that I felt during stake conference with Elder Holland today, and the blessing he left on the sisters in zion (but felt like it was just for me). I needed that.

Spent some time today just playing, reading, and talking to my kids. We had an interesting conversation about the birds and the bees. My five year old knows more than I think she does.

After he worked for 17 hours, I finally got to snuggle with my husband.

My children were unusually well behaved in the grocery store today. Also, I found lots of friends on facebook today.

KT was really sick and I cuddled her and read to her. I am amazed at how beautiful she looked in her new shirt I stayed up late to make last night. I'm glad she is feeling better. I'm so lucky to be her mom.

The kids sang so well in Primary. I think they will do really good for the program. When they sing/blurt out "GOD GAVE US FAMILIES!", it makes my heart do a happy dance.
